“Das Rheingold” in Berlin as last cycle of Deutsche Oper’s “Ring” gets underway

Norwegian director Stefan Herheim and Scottish conductor Donald Runnicles are in charge of the new Deutsche Oper Berlin Ring Cycle, which debuted in November and goes into the third and final cycle of the season Jan. 4, 5, 7 and 9.
