Detroit’s Northern Lights Festival

Opening the Detroit Symphony’s 2025 Northern Lights Festival with music of Finland and Norway on April 9-11, Christian Tetzlaff will play Sibelius’ Violin Concerto. Principal guest conductor Tabita Berglund starts the program with a birdsong-inspired work by Einojuhani Rautavaara and ends with movements from Grieg’s Peer Gynt suite.
