Dego Plays New Violin Concerto In SF

Daniele Rustioni will lead the San Francisco Symphony May 27- 29 in the orchestra’s debut performances of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Violin Concerto No. 2, The Prophets, featuring Francesca Dego. Also on the program are Berio’s Four Original Versions of Ritirata notturna di Madrid, based on a work by Luigi Boccherini, as well as Strauss’ An Alpine Symphony.
