Chicago Symphony: Two American-Themed Commissions

June 4-6, Marin Alsop conducts the Chicago Symphony in two important American co-commissions: John Adams’ The Rock You Stand On and Wynton Marsalis’ Liberty. Members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will be on hand to participate in the Marsalis.
