In her Carnegie Hall recital with pianist Inon Barnatan on Oct. 23, Renée Fleming will perform two new songs by Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer Caroline Shaw — “Aurora Borealis” and “Bed of Letters.” The world premieres are Carnegie Hall commissions. Fleming will also sing selections from André Previn’s Ten by Yeats and music of  Brahms, Richard Strauss and Austrian composer Egon Kornauth, a prolific lieder composer of the early 20th century.
